Congresso, Leuven Encounters in systematic theology, 2017, Leuven 520 2 $aThis vol. is the fruit of the eleventh Leuven Encounters in Systematic Theology (LEST XI) which was organized by Leuvens Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies from 11-14 October, 2017. On the occasion of the five-hundredth anniversary of the Reformation, this conference focused on the ongoing need for the renewal and reform of the Churches, a desideratum encapsulated in the well-known adage, 'Ecclesia semper reformanda'. The quest for such renewal constitutes a challenge for theologians of all confessional traditions. This vol. focuses particularly on the themes and topics that were at the forefront of the theological controversies which raged during the transitional period between the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Period, some of which are still unresolved. 520 2 $aPart I focuses on the foundations of theology, viz. Scripture, tradition(s), and/or reason. Part II investigates the important theological issues that have their roots in the Reformation Era, including the tensile relationship between sin, grace, free will, justification and sanctification, and the controversies related to the Eucharist, including the notion of sacrifice. Part III examines democratization and leadership structures in the Church. Part IV explores what a historically-informed awareness can contribute to an ecumenically-oriented reflection on the renewal and reform of the Church today 650 4$aEcclesiologia - Atti di congressi.$0(OLS)http://semarc/subject/16245 650 4$aChiesa - Riforma - Sec. 20.-21.$0(OLS)http://semarc/subject/26673 700 1 $aMey, Peter : de.$0(OLS)http://semarc/name/54568 700 1 $aFrançois, Wim,$d<1963- >.$0(OLS)http://semarc/name/93696 830 0$aBibliotheca Ephemeridum Theologicarum Lovaniensium ;$v306.$0(OLS)http://semarc/title/108 850 $aSeMil 852 $aSeMil$W1$xVenegono$y1$m2IA A 306$j219506$B231689$CSeMilBibl$Z2$F231689 $81 996 $6020$a978-90-429-4142-7$9(OLS)http://semarc/number/290538 996 $6245$aEcclesia semper reformanda :$brenewal and reform beyond polemics$9(OLS)http://semarc/title/429676 996 $6264$aLeuven [etc.] :$bPeeters$9(OLS)http://semarc/publisher/32081 LEADER 01457nam a2200313 i 4500 001 000000229690 003 CaOOAMICUS 005 20250411145631.0 008 140515s2014 it u000 u ita u 013 $a208592 020 $a978-88-10-30433-4 040 $aSeMil$bita 100 1 $aBouyer, Louis,$d<1913-2004>.$0(OLS)http://semarc/name/104 240 13$aLa spiritualité du Moyen âge ; La spiritualité protestante et anglicane (parte 2.)
